The training on application of the results of the Psychological Test of candidates to the Supreme Court took place in the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine

On April 12, 2017, the representatives of the company that has carried out the psychological testing of candidate judges to the Cassation Courts within the Supreme Court of Ukraine informed the Commission about how psychological opinions should be used. The event was held in the premises of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

The opinion based on the analysis of tested personal moral and psychological qualities, and general skills, contains the characteristics of a candidate’s individual competence, including their strengths, weaknesses, and eventual risks.

It should be noted that the said opinion must be included to the judicial dossier of a candidate judge for the Supreme Court. The representatives of the company that had carried out the psychological testing stressed it that, for ethical reasons, it was important not to disclose the content of psychological opinions to candidate judges at the stage of individual interview.

The psychological testing of candidates became possible thanks to financial and organizational support of the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine”.
