New pilot initiative in Odesa Oblast is aimed to strengthen interinstitutional cooperation among the key justice sector stakeholders at the regional level.

“The idea is to bring together representatives of the judiciary, prosecution and advocacy to define and discuss problem issues related to the implementation of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy 2015-2020 recently adopted by the Judicial Reform Council under the President of Ukraine. Mutual understanding of norms of the Criminal Procedure Code by key justice sector players, as well as of other laws is of utmost importance ensuring its effective implementation,” – notes Virgilijus Valancius, Team Leader of the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine”.
