On 11 October, the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” in cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) and the National Academy of Prosecutors of Ukraine organized the Round table “Implementation of the system of prosecutors’ performance evaluation: perspectives and obstacles”.
The event aimed to elaborate the system of recruitment and unified HR policy concept based on joint vision of the prosecutors, heads of regional PPOs and European experts.
In the course of the event, the participants discussed implementation of the prosecutors’ performance efficiency system and its criteria.
The experts of the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” the best practices of the prosecutors’ performance evaluation in France and Poland.
According to the recent survey, conducted by the PGO and National Academy of Prosecutors of Ukraine among 650 heads and deputy heads of the newly created local Public Prosecution Offices (PPOs), 67,3% of respondents agreed with the urgent necessity to implement unified criteria for prosecutors’ performance evaluation.
The EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” provides assistance to additional recruitment process for candidates to fill in the vacancies at the local PPOs.
