On 04 October, the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration and the branch of the Ukrainian Bar Association in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast organized a round table “Judicial enforcement reform in Ukraine – next steps”. The participants to the event were judges, representatives of regional justice institutions, lawyers and legal experts.

In the course of the round table, Kostyantyn Silkin, First Deputy Director of the State Enforcement Service Department of the Ministry of Justice, Dovydas Vitkauskas, Coordinator of the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” and Katilin Popov, the EU Project Expert on the Judicial Enforcement Reform Issues, discussed a wide range of issues related to the reform of judicial enforcement system. Specifically, they focused on implementation and advantages of new mixed system when court decisions could be enforcement by private and state enforcement services.
