The experts on the fight against corruption of the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” are providing trainings to 70 detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
From September 19 to September 30, Mika Aalto, the Project’s Key Expert on the fight against corruption, will train the NABU staff on the following topics:
– Appointment procedure for forensic examination of documents and computers
– Strategic, tactical and operational planning
The detectives will be trained how to cooperate with other institutions in the course of investigation of the corruption crimes, as well as how to prepare a case for consideration by the court and how to clarify sufficiency of facts to prove a crime.
NABU detectives are expected to start performing their duties from October 2015.
Establishment of training programmes and adoption of ethical codes on anticorruption are among the conditions in Visa Liberalisation process between the EU and Ukraine.
