As a part of the efforts aimed to aimed to assist Ukrainian stakeholders with recruitment and training of the new Supreme Court judges, the EU Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” has engaged Dragomir Iordanov, the expert on advanced training of judges and former Minister of Justice of Bulgaria.
On 14-15 November, Dragomir Iordanov had meetings with the administration of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the High Qualification Commission of Judges, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the National School of Judges. He discussed recruitment procedures for the new judges of the Supreme Court and further improvement of training for judicial staff.
Based on the mission results, the EU Project will assess the needs and resources necessary for recruitment and training of the new Supreme Court judges.
